Welcome to the 7-Day Food Challenge!

First, this is nothing meant to make you feel any negativity towards yourself or your eating habits. This is ONLY to see where we are and what, if anything, we want to change or moderate. There is such a battle we have with ourselves about what we eat and how often. There’s often judgement based on our size, if we are larger then we need to be eating less or salad. If we are smaller, we should be eating more. The honest truth, we all need to have healthy balance and moderation but most importantly, we need to have a healthy mindset about what we eat. The beauty of it all, we get to decide. That’s what this challenge will put into focus, our intake for 7 days and whether or not we want to make better choices, limit certain foods or food categories or plan and prep so we don’t feel like our only options are what’s convenient and not the healthiest. Take it past 7 days if you feel like a week isn’t enough.

At the end of the challenge, go through your food journal with a green, yellow and red highlighter, crayon, marker, whatever you have available and highlight which food and beverage are healthy, not the best and not healthy at all. What color do you see the most? Is it balanced? Do you like what you are looking at? Does it make you comfortable?
